Setting up your first dashboard
| Term | Description |

| Report | The starting point for analyzing marketing data. Configure metrics, date ranges, aggregation periods, group by, and filters to generate insights. |
| Report Type | Determines what a report analyzes and which configurator fields are available. There are five types: Analyze Engagement, Analyze Performance, Analyze Spend, Spend Summary, Stage Performance, and Stage Attribution. |
| Template | A pre-built report configuration that populates the configurator for common use cases. Each template belongs to a specific report type. |
| Configurator | The panel where you define a report's settings — metrics, date range, filters, group by, and more. Fields vary by report type. |
| Widget | A visual component within a report — metric cards, graphs, bar charts, or tables. Widgets can also be added to dashboards. |
| Dashboard | A customizable view that combines widgets from multiple reports into a single screen, ideal for combining insights, sharing, and executive KPI tracking. |
| Analytics Hub home | The home screen where you find, organize, and manage all of your reports and dashboards. |
